On my previous blog, I listed several places that are must-sees when in another country.
But I forgot one...
Fabric stores!
The diversity of a culture is normally visible in the different colors, textures, and weavings of fabric. Which is why fabric stores make Leah's must-see list.
This photo is from shopping with some new Indian friends (who are much better at bargaining than gringas, by the way).
So next time you're traveling, don't forget Leah's must-see list: bakeries, supermarkets, coffee/tea shops, book stores, grocery markets, and now fabric stores (or open air markets like in China).
